Welcome to my little chocolate haven!
Why chocolate? Well, who doesn’t love chocolate! For me, it’s more than just a treat - it’s about exploring textures, chocolate types, and unique flavours. I’ve spent hours and hours learning, experimenting, developing recipes and taste testing new ideas, and I can’t wait to share our creations with you! I am Level 2 Food Hygiene certified and always take my work seriously.
Not only do I love eating and trying different chocolates, I’ve also found that dreaming up new chocolates enables me to be creative. It helps me relax and focus, and I love turning simple ingredients into ideas that look and taste amazing. For me, food is my language of love - and every chocolate from our kitchen is filled with lots of love and patience. Making chocolate really is a labour of love!
But this business has an even greater “why.” My brother, Saajan, has Down’s syndrome, and he is one of the kindest, most caring people you could ever meet. I know it’s not always easy for people with special needs to find jobs, but I believe the world should see the unique gifts they bring. Saajan already helps with doing the gardening with my grandparents to produce fresh herbs that we use and he helps with packing orders. My dream is for this little business to grow into a future we can share together - side by side. One shaped by creativity, team work and the unique strengths each of us brings. One day, I hope to create opportunities where others with special needs feel included and valued too.
The Tiny Chocolatier is a real family effort. I come up with the recipes and designs and test every new idea, while my parents make the chocolates and help me learn about the business side. Saajan lends a hand with packing, and my little sister Suhaavi is our chief taste tester!
I hope you enjoy our artisan truffles, bars, and other creations as much as I love dreaming them up. All our ingredients are high quality, sustainably sourced and alcohol free, reflecting our values.
